GREAT LAKES ART MUSIC ENSEMBLE
The Great Lakes Art Music Ensemble (GLAM) is a chamber music group that specializes in the performance of new music. It was formed in 2007 by composer/percussionist Scott Harding and flutist Tess Miller with the help of guitarist Andrew Bergeron and flutist Carmen Maret.
Their debut performance at the National Flute Convention in Kansas City, MO and 2010 CD release on the White Pine Label at Central Michigan University feature original works and arrangements from their Latin Dance Project.
GLAM most recently presented the world premier of Intrada for flute and tamboraca by Scott Harding at the 2017 College Music Society International Conference in Sydney, Australia.
Stay tuned for a new CD project featuring the works of Scott Harding with compositions inspired by Mackinac Island.
DURANT STREET WINDS
Founded in 2012, this Woodwind Quintet is named after the street where they rehearse. Following their debut performance was on May 31, 2013, and they have performed for various chamber series throughout Michigan.
